In the last few weeks of Term 1 we went to Moana Pool. On the first day Room 6 went over to the wave pool. Room 5 were split into different groups to see what level we were on. At the end we played a game of penguins. If the swimming instructor called out 'penguins,' we jumped in and swam to the lane rope, touched it and swam back. The last person standing up was out and sat down. If the instructor said 'penguins' and you didn't jump in, you were out. If the instructor said anything other than 'penguins' and you jumped in, you were also out. Then we got to go and play in the wave pool while Room 6 had their lessons. For the rest of the sessions we had normal lessons. Aaron's favourite part of the lesson was backstroke. It was fun. I can't believe it is over .
