On Monday the 11Th of May Cody, Riley, Shaniia, Abby, Luka, Jonathan, Jeannie, and Sydney went to an Illustrators Workshop, at the Dunedin Public Library. Where David Elliot talked about his books and illustrations. He read us Pigtails the Pirate and the Pokindales. The Pokindales is about some sheep that live in Pokinville. One spoilt lamb comes along and said she was going to the pet parade. Middle lamb decides she wants to go, so her mother makes a dress out of an old sack. 
Then she gets teased because of her dress. After that she saves a little goat so the bull gives her the Biggest Bull Award. It was a great book. At the end we all got a bag with a pencil, a balloon, a bag of chips, 3 free DVD rentals and a lollipop. We all had a great morning!!!

Hello Room 5, The Illustrators workshop sounds awesome. We enjoyed reading about it. I am sure you all had fun. We have just opened the letters that you sent us. Everyone was really excited to read them. It was great to be able to look your blog up. We think we might start a blog too, so you can find out about us.
