SLEEPING BEAUTY

On Tuesday 5 May, Kim Whitta came and shared a play called Sleeping Beauty. First Room 3 came up and did their part in the play. They gave Princess Aurora her christening gifts. First came the gift of speech. Second came the gift of grace. Third came the gift of love. Fourthly came the gift of beauty. Lastly came the gift of good luck. After that Carabosk came and set the curse on Aurora, so that when she turns sixteen she will prick her finger on a spindle, then die. But then the good fairy came and set a different spell, that when she pricks her finger, she will fall asleep for 100 years. Next we jumped 16 years to Aurora's 16th birthday. After that the Room 4 girls came and gave Aurora a gift. It was a swan music box. Finally Room5 came up and did their song which was about Aurora's coach. The music was Grease Lightning. It was my favourite part of the whole play. Next Room 6 and Room 4 boys came up and did their part. It was about the entertainment at Aurora's 16 birthday. The entertainment was bare knuckle fist fights. After that Carabosk dressed as a beggar and knocked on the door. He gave Aurora a spindle. She played around with the spindle. Then she pricked her finger and then fell asleep. After that Room 5 boys and Room 6 girls chopped and kicked through all the vines and over grown bush to get to Sleeping Beauty. Lastly Prince Jacob kissed sleeping beauty/Mya. Prince Jacob helped Mya up and they got married.

THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!
