New Road Patrol Jackets.

The Road Patrol kids have got awesome new jackets because the small vests don't keep the rain off us.
Do you think we look snazzy in them?

Krystal's Dad bought them for us.
Don't you wish you had our job?

Mr Graham's Awesome Concert

On Friday 4th July, Mr Graham brought some of his friends along to play us a concert. Guess who came? Ms Dillon brought her sleeping son, Max. Isn't he so cute!

Graham and his friends played some awesome songs. He played with a friend called Bevan and a friend called Mitchell.

Mitchell actually went to Bradford School when he was younger. Mostly all the mums, dads and teachers showed up to watch.

It looks as if everyone is enjoying themselves.

We all had a good last day of the term and we hope it happens again.

Reading and Writing Awards.

On the 2nd of July Trev, Crystal and Henny Penny came to present some reading and writing awards.

When they first came Henny Penny discovered the bongo drums and made the bongo drums her new favourite sport. Trev and Crystal said that if Henny Penny was naughty we had to say 3 letters which were "KFC".

The first award went to Tane but he was sick so Jack D took his book on his behalf.

Next Courtney got a book from Trev and Crystal.

The third award went to Zayleah who got a big chapter book to read.

The last award went to the Bradford school library about teeth and Storm took it on behalf of the school.

After the awards all of Bradford school sung "Singing In The Shower" and Trev recorded us.

Next we got to ask questions to Trev, Crystal and Henny Penny. Most questions were like why doesn't Henny Penny doesn't like "KFC".

When everyone left Courtney, Zayleah, Jack D and Storm got to talk on the radio.

SPACE

In room 5 we have been learning about space.
First off we thought about what we wanted to know.
Some of the wonderings were mysteries and some still are.
Then we had a test about night, day and the seasons.
After that we did some rocket writing with Mrs Baines,
(rocket writing is when you write down as much as you know about
something in five minutes.)
Then we had to publish it on a rocket.

Later on in the inquiry unit we had to buddy up with someone
and choose a planet/star to research.
We also had a black piece of paper and little cards that had the name of things that are involved with space that we
had to stick onto the black paper.
We also had a lot of fun watching videos on
night and day and also space.
After all that we had the same test that we had at the start of the unit.
The results were much better than the first time.
